With the increasing levels of global pollution, it has become extremely important to the management at briken coating to maintain an operation that releases a very low level of contaminants into the environment. 

Our wash tank recycles all of the phosphate so there are very low levels released into the sewers.  Powder painting is known as one of the most environmentally friendly finishing methods available.  It is much less toxic to the environment than wet painting or plating, both of which can contain high levels of lead and other deadly contaminants.  Wet coatings produce high levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), whereas powder coating releases negligible amounts of VOCs.  There is no need for pollution control equipment with powder coating.

All of our paints are lead free, and our reclaim process allows us to retrieve 90% of what is sprayed out of the paint guns.
